Stuff They Don't Want You To Know - Loch Ness Monster

Scientists from around the world have scoured Scotland's Loch Ness in an attempt to discover the infamous Loch Ness monster (affectionately known as 'Nessie')

Interesting how some Cryptozoologists think that these types of creatures should only be found in tropical areas, not the cold waters of Scotland. Which is similar to Bigfoot, in that non-human primates are found in tropical and subtropical areas. So for either of these Cryptids to exist in the habitats they are claimed to be in is a stretch.

  1. Well, if you're talking about plesiosaurs being the unknown animals at Loch Ness then that's not entriey true. Plesiosaurs actually did live in cold water areas such as Antarctica, and they were probably warm blooded. I'm not hypothesizing that's what people were seeing though.

    1. Btw, here's an article from Scott Mardis on cold-water plesiosaurs and their possible survival alleged by some people: http://bizarrezoology.blogspot.com/2013/05/article-on-alleged-plesiosaur-survivors.html

  2. I don't think there's anything in the loch ness however I don't discount the possibility of "nessie" type creatures in our oceans. We really don't know everything down there or what could have survived from long ago.

    1. I agree Beth, although I am open to the possibility that there were large eels in the Loch at some time.

  3. Loch ness is a lake with access too and from the sea, imo large Sturgeons are what is seen now and then.
