Is This a Loch Ness Monster Sighting?

David Elder, an amateur photographer, was attempting to get photos of a swan from a pier at Fort Augustus on the southwest end of Loch Ness when something mysterious caught his eye disturbing the calm waters.

He described it to the UK Mirror as a “solid black object” just under the water that created a wave atop the lake surface. The sighting immediately fueled speculation that this might have been a Loch Ness Monster sighting.

Elder, 50, also took video of the unidentified “sea creature.” Watch:

“Out of the corner of my right eye, I caught site of a black area of water about 15 feet long, which developed into a kind of bow wave,” Elder of East Kilbride told the Mirror.

“I’m convinced this was caused by a solid black object under the water. The water was very still at the time and there were no ripples coming off the wave and no other activity on the water.

“Water was definitely going over something solid and making the wave. It looks like the sort of wave perhaps created by a windsurfing board, but there was nobody on the Loch at the time, no boats, nothing.

“It is something I just can’t explain.”

Beast of Trowbridge Spotted In England

 

Herbert and Doreen Smith were walking in Murhill Woods, near the village of Winsley, at around 10.30am on Saturday morning when they spotted the creature.

Mr Smith, 71, said he struggled to believe the sight when he first came across the large black animal.

He told the Wiltshire Times: “Our first impression was sheer astonishment, we really could not believe our eyes at what we were seeing. The animal was eating what we believe it had just caught.

“There was a lot of rabbits about so I expect it was having breakfast. I was about 20ft away from it whilst it was eating, it looked up at me for a couple of seconds then resumed eating.

 Over the years, the panther-like creature has been spotted in Trowbridge, Staverton and Westbury Leigh, and was the subject of numerous sightings in 2009.

Dead Shark Spotted On Subway Train

A dead shark was spotted on a New York City subway car early Wednesday, shocking and delighting even the most hardened New Yorkers.

The one-and-a-half foot shark was first found on the floor of the the Queens-bound N train as it traveled through Manhattan.

Some straphangers snapped photos while others theorized it could be a marketing stunt for Discovery's "Shark Week" going on this week.

“I walk in, and there’s a pretty big, three foot dead shark on the train, and it smells terrible!” Brandon Sanchez, an NYU student who boarded the train at Canal Street, told the New York Post. “We were pretty much in disbelief, and kept laughing. It was the craziest thing I’ve ever seen on the subway in New York!”

Sanchez added: “I don't think someone killed it and put it there. I think somebody probably bought it and left it there as a prank.”
